
July 14, 1988- London, United Kingdom: Tickets for the concert went on sale in January, with the ticket demand from the fans over 1.5 million. Princess Diana and Prince Charles attended the concert, as always, Jackson donated $450,000 to the Prince's Trust and the Great Ormond Street Hospital. Jackson also presented a special tour jacket which was shown in Jackson's solo albums Bad, Thriller and Off the Wall to the royal children. All concerts at Wembley earned Jackson a third place into the Guinness World Records from the tour alone on September 8, 1988. Jackson won the award given to him which was previously held by Genesis (very famous band).
