
August 28, 1988- Leeds, United Kingdom: During the United Kingdom tour, Jackson performed in Leeds on August 29, 1988 on his 30th birthday, The fans even sang "Happy Birthday to You" to Michael Jackson. An incident happened during the concert where a pilot was chased by police after flying a plane above the crowd of 90,000. No one was injured, although 96 fans were arrested mostly because of drunkenness and some for drug offences and lots of damage. After the concert, Jackson donated $130,000 to “Give For Life”, a British charity was aiming to raise $1.9 million towards an immunisation programme for over 40,000 children.
